their countrymen, in those areas. Chau Kai-kong, who is mentioned in Mr. Wu's speech, is a prominent official of the Kuomintang and his expulsion from the Netherlands Indies probably came about owing to the

determination of the Dutch Authorities not to allow

the establishment of this political Society in the

territories under their administration.
